3. Installation/Maintenance Engineer.

The engineering department is responsible for the installation of all new systems as well as the maintenance and correction of all existing alarms and CCTV devices. We are currently looking for Fire/ Security Installation and Maintenance Engineer. The salary is dependent on experience. Criteria for this would be decided after interview.
On call and emergency call outs will also be key to this position.
Key responsibilities include the maintenance of Fire/Intruder alarm systems to NSI standards. This includes fault finding and correcting problems on alarms systems and also CCTV systems. The engineer must ensure that the customer's files in the alarm panel are maintained in accordance with the NSI requirements. The engineer must report all systems installation problems detected during maintenance visits and system upgrades.
The individual must maintain company stock and tools ensuring that they are kept in a safe and clean condition.
Ideally the successful applicant will have skills, and preferably qualifications, in Fire or intruder alarms and CCTV installations including City & Guilds or BTEC. PC literacy would also be an advantage. You must also be able to work to tight deadlines, unsupervised. Excellent communication and customer service skills are also required.
You must have a flexible approach to working, be able to do on call shifts as required.
